Commitment to Transparency
Swindon Advocacy Movement is committed to working collaboratively and in a transparent manner.
- Public Reports: we publish our key policies and end of year reports on our website (paper copies are available on request) which detail board of trustees’ and senior management team information, news and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) reports.
- Impact Documentation: our monitoring reports evidence the impact of our work, who we serve and how many people we have supported.
- Complaint Handling: we welcome all comments or complaints about our service, dealing with them in a completely open and transparent way. The procedure is below and strives to provide our clients with the accessibility support they need to raise their views.
- Independent Scrutiny: Swindon Advocacy Movement is committed to our independence, functioning separately from the local authority, health and other services. What to expect when working with us is outlined in our Engagement Protocol. We operate with a Board of Trustees and members who are themselves users of the NHS and other public services, ensuring governance remains true to the people it represents.
