SAM works to inform a society where everybody is welcome and equal.
We offer several discrete services in and around Swindon and the South West:
Free, independent statutory advocacy
Community Independence Based Projects, and
Spot Purchase Advocacy
We have diverse, knowledgeable and experienced teams. The advocates are able to advocate for children, young people and adults. Working alongside people with autism, mental health conditions, learning disabilities and dementia; every individual advocate and service challenges inequality and social injustice.
Last year SAM gave a voice to 886 children, young people and adults enabling them to access services, make choices and challenge service decisions.
We have successfully reached the high quality advocacy needed to be awarded the prestigious Quality Performance Mark Award.
