The What's Next Project

Our aim is to promote young peoples rights and choices while developing meaningful ways to communicate young peoples wishes to those who can help them to reach their goals.

For young people there is a lot to think about as life changes from being a child to being an adult.

You might be thinking about a new school or college, meeting new friends and saying goodbye to old ones, there might be new staff supporting you, or new places to visit.

This time is often called 'Transition'

For any young person transition

is a time of mixed feelings,

excitement and opportunity,

nerves and uncertainty.

For a young person with a learning difficulty this time can be even more complex as the services that support you change.

Lots of people can help you to think about and plan what comes next for you. The What's Next Project can help you to make sure that the people hear what you want and get the support you need.

The What's next project works with young people

in small group's or on a one to one

We will help you to think about important

changes and choices in a fun and lively way.

Finding ways to tell others about our hopes

through art, drama and games.
