How does it work?
An advocate can offer a person with learning difficulties help on a one to one basis.
Help can be in many forms, an advocate can go with you to important meetings or share time and interests with you.
The advocate will help you speak up for your self or will speak for you if you need them to.
The advocate will work with you to make sure you get your full rights, and make choices about your life.
